Player Codex — v3
Manual for experienced players. Detailed effects, combat meta, economy, deckbuilding choices per monster. For the basics (what is a card, how to play), see the in-game tutorial in your first match.
1. Elemental triangle
Each Guardian (Aquonix, Pyrakos, Terragor) belongs to an element. When it plays a card, the card's type relative to the Guardian's type determines a damage multiplier.

- Boost ×1.5: your Guardian plays a card of its own type (perfect specialization).
- Penalty ×0.75: your Guardian plays a card of the type that beats it in the triangle (its counter element).
- Neutral ×1.0: card of the type your Guardian beats, or universal card.
2. Combat — flow & math

Quick summary: each turn follows 6 phases — Skills (cancellable by cancelskill or blockSkill) → Shields (incl. blockNext from Healing Tide) → Attacks (incl. cancelAttack + reflect / reflectAll from Carapace variants) → Card Reflect → Heals → Persistent buffs → Tick → Cleanup. Damage formula: ceil(card.value × elemental_multiplier) then ×doubleDmg (Gold) or ×tripleDmg (Ultimate) or ×1.5 (Surpuissance), then shield is subtracted (min 1 damage unless fully cancelled).
3. Effects in detail

4. Guardians & variants
Three Guardians, each with a distinct gameplay identity:
- WATER Aquonix — balanced, mixes damage and regeneration.
- FIRE Pyrakos — high DPS but fragile (lower HP pool).
- ROCK Terragor — heavy tank, few attacks but lots of control and counters.
Skills per variant
Each variant (Standard / Gold / Ultimate) unlocks a different, more powerful skill. The skill used in-game matches the variant of the Guardian in your deck.

5. Cards catalog
📘 Translation in progress. The complete card catalog (33 cards across 3 elements with stats and effects) is available in the French version.
Quick overview: 33 cards total — 12 commons / 10 rares / 11 legendaries. 9 cards per elemental type (Water / Fire / Rock) + 6 universal. Categories: atk (attack), def (shield), heal (heal), eff (effect-only).
6. Deckbuilding & meta
A deck is composed of:
- 1 monster + its variant (standard/gold/ultimate)
- 12 cards from your collection
- Maximum 2 copies of any non-legendary card, 1 copy max for legendary

7. Geo-Hunt
Locate famous places on a world map. Three modes:

Expert mode — scoring tiers
Maximum score = max(0, 1000 − total_attempts × 50). Tiers (cumulative attempts across the 3 locations):
- 🌟 Diamond (≤6 attempts) — Legendary booster
- ✨ Gold (7-12 attempts) — Premium booster
- 📦 Silver (13+ attempts) — Standard booster
